Aiming for Excellence Through Faith and Learning

It is the aim of Alice Ingham RC Primary School to follow our Mission Statement and provide excellence through faith and learning.  We believe in equality, love, respect and kindness. We have a high standard of behaviour and consistently create a stimulating and challenging atmosphere for learning which enables every child to reach his/her potential and feel valued and happy.

Through our broad and balanced curriculum we give pupils the opportunity to participate in a wide range of new and exciting experiences across all areas, subjects and topics.

Sacramental Programme

Throughout your child’s school life we guide them through their Faith Journey.  In Year 3 your child may receive the  sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Holy Communion.

Excellent teacher/pupil ratio
We have smaller class sizes therefore we are well staffed to look after the individual needs of your child. All our classes are supported by a Teaching  Assistant.

Physical, emotional and medical care
We have highly trained staff  continuously available to support your child through educational, emotional, physical and medical welfare.  We also employ a School Based Family Worker to support our pupils and families Tel: 07807 510318

Stimulating environment and excellent resources
We make the school a bright and fun place to learn. We have an extensive outdoor environment designed to stimulate your child’s imagination.

Outdoor education opportunities

We arrange outdoor visits so children gain first hand  experience of the outside world.

School Council

The children elect their committee, which meets regularly with a Teaching Assistant to discuss school issues; including fundraising, supporting charities and raising pupil awareness of the needs of others.
